Orientation day for International Students

On Saturday, 6 June 2009, the International Affairs Office held the Orientation for the international students at the Meeting Room 210, President's Office Building. About sixty current and new foreign students were welcomed by many distinguish executive staff, headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchai Ratanachai, Vice President for Outreach and International Affairs, and by Thai students from different PSU Clubs. After the welcoming, all the participants introduced themselves and express their enthusiasm to discover more about PSU.



  This activity was a good opportunity for the international students to learn more about our university and to make new friends. On this occasion, they listened and asked questions to the executive staff and also they watched some Power Point presentations about: the International College, Learning Resource Center, facilities available at PSU, Thai Arts and Cultural Activities, PSU International Student Club and about. How to Survive in PSU.

     After the lunch, hosted by our university, the international students, accompanied by Thai students, went into a journey to Songkla. They spent the afternoon sightseeing in Songkhla and visiting some tourist attractions, such us: Samila Beach and Songkhla Aquarium. All this activities strengthen the relationships between foreign and Thai students and gave them all the opportunity to discover PSU in a congenial way.
