The International Affairs Office (IAO) of Prince of Songkla University (PSU) successfully participated in the 18th Southern Higher Education Exhibition, held from 14-15 August 2014 at The 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, PSU Hat Yai Campus. A number of 140 national and international academic institutions participated in the Education Exhibition, and introduced their organization, programs of study and other eye-catching activities to thousands of visitors.

The PSU IAO booth enjoyed a great interest from all visitors, ranging from primary school students to national and international academics. The aim of the IAO booth was to allow the PSU students, who joined the Student Exchange programs with China or the AEC Camp 2014 in Vietnam, to present the benefits gained from participating in these activities. Students described to visitors their experience abroad at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (JUST) and Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), which offered them the opportunity to gain new knowledge about Chinese education and culture, and about living in a foreign country. Moreover, the students who joined the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Camp 2014 from April 6-11, 2014, in Vietnam, gave details on their experience in learning about other ASEAN member country's traditions and culture.

The booth also portrayed the IAO activities arranged in 2014 through relevant posters displayed on the booth. The activities presented were: the annually PSU-BSU English Camp, first Thai Cultural Camp for foreign students, On-campus Immigration Assistance, English Class for PSU Staff and Lecturers, Thai Language Class for Foreign Staff, ASEAN Future Leaders Summit (AFLES 2013), and USM- PSU Leadership Exchange Program (UPLEx) 2013.
