Thirty PSU delegates, led by Dr. Bordin Waelateh, Vice President for Student Development, PSU Pattani Campus, visited Brunei Darussalam under the annual program called “Exploring ASEAN”. This year, the activities took place mainly at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), the top university in Brunei Darussalam. The main objectives of this visit were to discuss the possibility to renew the Memorandum of Understanding between PSU and UBD, and to strengthen the mutual academic activities to make the collaboration more effective and sustainable. Another important objective was to promote PSU and Thailand among UBD’ staff and students via well-prepared performances and presentations conducted by PSU students from five campuses. These activities also helped PSU students to build up their self-confidence in English and Melayu languages by speaking with Bruneians; to broaden their knowledge and experiences about Brunei, which is one of ASEAN member states. This program was very successful in terms of future collaboration and broadened the knowledge and experiences of PSU students.
